Natural splendour surrounds Elanora, Queensland, close to Currumbin Creek, Tallebudgera Valley, Currumbin Valley, Palm Beach Parklands, and Burleigh Head National Park. Elanora and its surroundings offer many undiscovered natural beauty for nature enthusiasts, bushwalkers, and picnickers to uncover.

It is a beautiful setting for a family trip. But you can make your getaway even more enjoyable. Book a stay with us at Isle of Palms Resort. We are on Coolgardie Street, surrounded by Pine Lake Elanora’s magnificent waters, and offer complete relaxation in a quiet lakeside resort near everything the beautiful Southern Gold Coast offers.

The resort comprises two-story waterfront villas, townhouses, and self-contained garden townhouses. For families and large groups, there is also the option of a private garden or terrace and up to 4 bedrooms. All visitors have unlimited access to the resort’s numerous on-site facilities.

You can appreciate the environment and have a pleasant rest in addition to exploring it. The Pines Shopping Centre is close to the Isle of Palms and has local transport connections. Consider spending the day at Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary, the top wildlife site on the Gold Coast.

Join Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s Halloween Event

Bring your kids to Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary to participate in the annual Halloween celebrations. You will love that special Halloween family evening with the 2023 Fangtuary at dusk. The event runs from October 26 through October 28 and is open to everyone. It would also be best to dress up in the spookiest Halloween attire, considering it is Halloween.

Imagine going through all four Fangtuary Zones dressed as The Addams Family or characters from Hotel Transylvania. Keep in mind that each zone has a tick-or-treat station and a theme. Make sure to trick-or-treat before moving on to the next venue. Every site also offers a wide range of attractions and activities. Each includes performances and various forms of entertainment.

  • Zone 1: Haunted House
  • Zone 2: Jurassic Alley
  • Zone 3: Wild Asylum
  • Zone 4: Zombie Swamp

At the Sanctuary Markets, you may refuel with a meal and a drink if you feel low on energy. You may have a tasty street food feast with a variety to pick on Friday from 4 to 9 p.m. The Sanctuary Café, which features food vendors, pop-up bars, and other treats, will be open on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday if you’re going during that time.

If you want some weekend downtime, consider visiting a neighbouring park, like the Palm Beach Parklands. Your children will enjoy playing pirates, exploring interactive panels, and using ropes to swing from the ship’s hull, traverse rope bridges, climb rope ladders, or go down the enormous slide at The Pirate Park. Kids can also use the flying fox, walk the board, and pretend to fire cannons. Your children’s imaginations will soar.

But that is not all! Children will adore Justins Park as well. There are plenty of available park benches and picnic tables. Have fun, and pack a picnic. Kids will like the playground’s exciting attractions like swings, slides, climbing structures, a balance beam, and a rotating teacup.

Are you ready to go on a family holiday? Plan well and book your Isle of Palms accommodation.
