Dare to try their latest attraction. The Green Challenge provides treetops ropes courses through the eucalypt and rainforest canopy. Go higher and deeper into the heart of this awesome natural setting. The four courses include two beginners’ courses, one intermediate course, and the Extreme Green Challenge which is an advanced course.
With high Tarzan swings and a giant flying fox, the Extreme Green Challenge will test the agility and daring of anyone who takes on the course. Are you up for the challenge?
Perhaps you would prefer to travel through the sanctuary riding a Segway. Each Segway Safari covers the Currumbin’s extensive Forest Walk, taking in wildlife displays and experiences along the way. A Segway Safari can seat up to four people. An experienced Segway guide will lead the way.
For a glimpse of Aboriginal culture, immerse yourself in an engaging evening of Indigenous Australia and native wildlife. Watch Currumbin Wildlife Sanctuary’s Yanguwah Experience, the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander dinner and show.
Yanguwah starts with a welcome ceremony and didgeridoo performance. It is followed by a Kup Murri demonstration and introduction to traditional cooking methods of the Torres Strait Islander people. Enjoy the Aboriginal Dance show, see the Tasmanian devil, and hand feed a mob of friendly kangaroos. You may also hold a baby Salt Water crocodile and a koala. Cap off the night with your Kup Murri buffet dinner.
