Adrenaline Park gets its name from the adrenaline-pumping rides available in the area, all of which have been described as stomach-churning and thrilling.

Adrenaline Park boasts of having the oldest 14-storey bungy jump in the Gold Coast. Be prepared to take a leap and scream your lungs out. The bungy jump at Adrenaline Park is considered by many as a rite of passage for risk-takers in Surfers Paradise.

After experiencing that quick rush of blood to your head, head to the Flycoaster. It is situated in the same block as the bungy jump. The Flycoaster simulates the flying experience as it propels you through the air at high speeds while in a harness. The ride flies you up 35 metres to the air and down again to 2 metres and then up again. In the process, you get to see a bird’s eye view of the beaches and Surfers’ skyline – that is if you haven’t thrown up anytime during that dizzying roller-coaster-like free fall.

Another adrenaline-rushing ride in Adrenaline Park is the Slingshot. Similar to the Flycoaster, the Slingshot propels passengers to the air but at a faster speed of 160 kms per hour at a distance of 100 metres. This is made possible by a spring propulsion system made up of more than 700 specially designed springs.

The Vomatron is a ride in Adrenaline Park that looks like a giant propeller with seats. It appears similar to a centrifuge that astronauts use. Two massive motors power the Vomatron as it rotates at 120 kms per hour. The capsules, when spinning, generates 4gs of force. After the ride, or when it seems to appear the ride is over, it spins in reverse.
